Default Non-Wireless Printer Going Wireless

I was hoping someone here could help me with a wireless printer issue please? Here is my story. I have a Dell Laser Network Printer that was given to us as a moving gift. The model number is the M 5200 that has no wireless card in it because it was used as a network printer. If need be, I have pictures of the connections on the back of the printer. I was told that if we were to purchase a simple router this printer could become a part of our home network and become a wireless printer. I may need a little extra help with this project so im asking if someone with a bit of time help me with this project. Thank you in advance.

Yes, you would just need to plug it into your router (if you don't have one already) or a switch and then configure the printer for your network. You can find the user manual here: Product Support | Dell US
Laptop: MSI GT70 2OC-059us | i7-4700MQ | 16GB | GTX 770m | 500GB SSD / 750GB HDD | 17.3" | Win10 Pro
Desktop: 4690k | 12GB g.Skill RipJaws | GTX 970 | 520hx | Z87X-UD4H | Corsair Vengeance C70 | Corsair H110 | Acer 25" | Acer 22" | Win10
Mobile: Google Pixel 3 XL

If I help you, or you just like what I said, rep me by clicking the under my post
