Hello, I'm a Systems Administrator at my job, currently getting my Masters in Information Assurance. Sometime next year around this time, I'm hoping to make the big jump into the Cyber Security Field. This is after I finish my masters this summer and getting a few certifications (Security+, SSCP, CISSP) that I'm also studying for. I was wondering if being an OSCR will help my resume out when it comes to looking for a job? I just signed up for it at my job and I hear everybody hates being an OSCR and they stay away from it. I'm just thinking about my future and was wondering if it mattered or not?
Is it worth being an Operational Security Computer Representative (OSCR)?
