I want to know why 250+ BILLION dollars has gone to a war that has done nothing, the country is still in ruins and is supposed to be handed over in June. People died in vein there, it makes me want to cry to know their child didnt serve a purpose, he was a pawn in a game and there is nothing I can do about it. Do you know what we can do with 250+ billion dollars? Diabetes would be gone, AIDs could be gone, Cancer could be gone, this is bogus!
-Ryan

those diseases will probably be there, because he stole that money from social security

Exactly, and remember, people with AIDs are our front line defense aganist bio-terrorism as Bush said. I wonder what diabetics are to him then?

I know that's right

I think this thread should be closed, but I dont have the power in this section.

I admit I don't agree with Bush's ways, but I've never seen a president with as much hatred spewed against him as this one. I think we should respect the President, even if we don't agree with his policies. That doesn't mean we have to vote for him or support him in his campaigne, but to say Hitler was a better leader, c'mon! And I think if it would have been anybody but John Kerry running this last election, Bush would have been out.

As for all you American children 'hating America', like Nubius said, go live in Cuba or China, or better yet, Afghanistan. I love America and think its a wonderful country. Bush is NOT America. You can dislike Bush without 'hating America'.

I am with you Beedubya, I support this country very strongly. I respect him as out leader but hate him for the decisions he makes. If you think it is bad here, go to another country, or matter of fact parts of this country. Hes right, dont hate the whole country for one person, that is just rediculos. Hitler a better leader? That is crazy, Hitler led by force and punishment along with empty promises.

What makes me mad is that if I dont stand up for the pledge, I am not patrotic and an atheist. That is bogus crap, I stand for it I just dont put my hand on my chest or say it because I dont believe that "one nation under god" should be in there. Religon and goverment are to be kept seperate, and it seems the trend latly to go with your "religous" background, and most are Roman Cathloic. Now I have nothing against Cathloics, I am lutheran myself but dont put it in goverment.

I think the hatred spewed towards him is rather well-deserved. I am a liberal, and darn proud of it too. That being said, I dont hate Bush, I dont hate conservatives. Your political opinion is just that, AN OPINION. Ya, Bush cut educational grants, as did my governor, the Terminator.
Here is a few reasons I dont like Bush. I cut and paste this mock resume from a blogger named Kelley Kramer. Most of them are pretty on point, however theres a few that are exaggerated:

Dissolved more international treaties than any president in US history.
My presidency is the most secretive and un-accountable of any in US history.
Members of my cabinet are the richest of any administration in US history. (the 'poorest' multi-millionaire, Condoleeza Rice has an Chevron oil tanker named after her).

Fist US president in history to have a majority of the people of Europe (71%) view my presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and stability.

Set all-time record for number of administration appointees who violated US law by not selling huge investments in corporations bidding for government contracts.
Failed to fulfill my pledge to get Osama Bin Laden 'dead or alive'.
Failed to capture the anthrax killer who tried to murder the leaders of our country at the United States Capitol building. After 18 months I have no leads and zero suspects.
In the 18 months following the 911 attacks I have successfully prevented any public investigation into the biggest security failure in the history of the United States.
Removed more freedoms and civil liberties for Americans than any other president in US history.

F*ck America. If you want me to leave, give me the money and resources to do it. I will.

[SNIPPED]......that's the dumbest crap I've ever heard....if you hate it so much, you come up with your own damn resources and leave....theres plenty of people from mexico or cuba that don't have money and resources and manage to sneak in here, it's a whole hell of a lot easier to get out of this country especially for people who don't appreciate it.

That's gotta be the most assanine shit I've ever heard "give me the money to leave" yeah freakin right, give me a break. You hate it so much yet you won't make the slightest effort on your own to leave....... moron

Canada isnt all that expensive to get to, and mexico 20$ a week and your set.

But audio gear is soo damned expensive up here

Why Beedubaya? I think it's a good outlet for interesting viewpoints. Granted, some people are saying bad things about America without good reason and swearing for no apparent reason. Those threads can be pulled out, but close the whole thread? Controversial topics should not be buried just b/c some people don't like what they hear.. At least IMO.

Respecting the man is difficult to do man. So many of his policies are biased. And so many people have been hurt as a result. Just read Jeffrock's and Eric's posts. And yeah, as MrBebop has said, Bush has spent a lot of money to first "make sure there was no weapons of mass destruction" and now there aren't any "to ensure democracy for the people of Iraq".. Right.. Perhaps, making up his mind on what the reason was should be his first task.

Also other than being shit scared about a nuclear attack, add the reasons of destabilizing the middle east, getting some control over a huge oil producing country, and *cough* dealing with the fellow "who tried to kill his daddy" (Bush quote)..

Right.. The idea of his spending (and continuing to spend) billions and billions of dollars to "ensure" democracy is a load of crap. What about the poor and unfortunate ppl in the US itself? And what was his initial pledge to the Tsunami victims again? (24 million I think - before other countries made them look bad and criticized them).

What Bush is a scared little boy with too much power under his fingers. He approached this whole international thing completely wrong. Alienated everyone except for a fellow called Tony (we all know what's happening to him now, don't we? :) ) and has put the burden on the American ppl. A smart president would not have been so hasty and would've waited for other leaders.

I don't think anyone said in this thread that he was like Hitler man. Hitler invaded countries and killed innocent ppl just for the heck of it (or his twisted reasons). Bush is simply installing a (puppet) government that he will have certain powers over in the most unpredictable region in the world and is only killing innocent ppl through the process of achieving this end task - and not for fun. So Bush is obviously better.

Agreed to a certain extent. But, one should still be able to criticize his country without people saying "get out you traitor". America is not responsible for Bush's problems. Bush's problems are Bush's problems. But America, much like Canada, much like Iraq, and much like South Asia, has other problems. None of these countries are "angels".. There is a lot of discrimination going on and other problems. This is caused by the "people".. And that is *very* american (or canadian or indian or iraqian, whatever). For example, if a kid has parents who are discriminated at work, and if the kid is discriminated at school, I think he or she should be able to say "I hate this country".

It's just better to see "how", as a country, these problems can be eliminated instead of saying they shud get out.

But if u say "I hate my country (America)" without good reason, then I completely agree with you.
