New build for kid #3.

Thanks Joe- yes- I will look into that Seasonic- I like their PSU's on a whole- but since she will be taking this to college next year - I want to make sure it will last and take abuse- hence the gold certified PSU I have in the "partpicker" link - although I honestly cannot say what makes a PSU gold vs bronze certified and if it makes any difference or not.

Tbh there isn't as much of a difference as they claim, and when I had access to the 2 Ryzen rigs I built I really wish I would have done a "real world" analysis for the boards. Honestly, my 2500k did perfectly fine at 4GHz even bottlenecking my TXPs in 2 areas. I mean we're talking 70+ fps average in 4k, 100+ in 1080p. The Ryzen 1600 does better than that with a more consistent performance level, and better rendering speed due to more threads. The i5 8400 is a compelling option for similar price, but I don't expect stock available before Christmas.

Edit: Lately I've been recommending G3s because of the warranty. Gold vs bronze is only efficiency levels.
