U have outpost firewall, try to disable it.

I am not sure about the questionmarks, post the log in the HJT forum and ask there

i just tried to buy something of another site, and i think as soon as i tried to get onto an https:// page(secure server) the connection was refused

any ideas why that would be happening?

make sure SSL and TLS are enabled in internet settings and FireFox settings

SSl2.0 and SSL3.0 are checked
so is TLS1.0
