Look at these site's. The next xbox will be faster than most personal computers.

"Three IBM-designed 64-bit microprocessors. The combined power of these chips means the Xbox Next will have more computing power than most personal computers. Earlier versions of these PowerPC chips are used in Apple Computer's high-end G5 PowerMac machines now."

Sony definately has there work cut out for them.

Actually, it won't be better than most personal computers.

As of now, if it were released right NOW, then yes, it would be.

But keep in mind that this thing is not going to be released for at least one year.

It may not sound very long for upgrades, but in a year, many things can happen to PC's. For an example, just look at the big jump in video cards. The x800 and GeforceFX 6800 Ultra are about 2 times as good as the best video cards before them. Talk about a big jump!

By the time that XBOX comes out, I would say that we would easily have 4 GHZ Processors, 2GB of ram average, and possibly over 200GB of HD as an average.
