Wireless Repeater/ Lan Router

right,

i recently asked bout a wireless repeater and i jus want to say this thread has nothing to do with that so forget that1

this is for my friend who has 2 computers upstairs and a computer downstairs the 1 downstairs has a netgear router on it what he wants to do is buy a wireless repeater that he can stick upstairs and connect to his downstairs router wirelessly, and connect his 2 PC's upstairs with a LAN cable to the repeater ?

is this possible ?

OK I LIED HE DOESNT WANT TO CONNECT 2 COMPUTERS UPSTAIRS ITS JUS THE EXAMPLE WAS EASIER HE HAS A HARDRIVE TV RECORDER THING THAT GETS UPDATES FROM THE NET FROM A PATCH CABLE AND HE DONT WONNA RUN A 30M CABLE. So same principle

TP-Link wa501g access point/ repeater. I have used a boat load of these and not one has failed or given me a moment's problem. Somewhere around 40 dollars US with tax. They seems to be popular in your section of the world. Beats the higher priced less friendly LinkSys repeater. Which is 99 dollars US before taxes.

kool ill look into that but does it have the lan capabilities aswell ?
