Windows 7 speed up log in process

Curious if there's any way I can speed up the log in.. When I first boot up and then log in to my user it seems it takes longer than usual

Start -> type msconfig -> Startup tab -> disable programs that you don't need coming up on startup (make sure you keep your AV enabled though)

You can also check under Start -> All programs -> Startup folder

also having an SSD as your main drive running the OS will speed up your boot significantly.
