its not quite 'TWICE THE AMOUNT OF A SINGLE CARD", correct me if im wrong, but ive read that having 2 256mb cards still only counts as 256mb, and its not the same as having one 512mb card. BUT in other aspects having two cards is almost as good as having the theoretical times two policy. One thing is for sure, there is no single card out there that can beat two 7800s. having two will give you the performance of one full one and about 60-70 percent of the second one's separate specs, im telling you this based on the cpu magazine results. so there you go.
