What are your hobbies?

Damn that sucks. I had a similar thing happen to a friend's Jetta where an oil line wasn't properly secured and popped off while driving. Burn baby, burn. I guess that's one way to transition away from FWD, he drives an S4 B5 now.

Of course, it's driveable...providing you can resist all the wobbling the car make due to the rims all screwed up...

I sure love driving it!

So far, I've done an engine swap, since the original engine was busted...so now, I have the LB8 2.8L engine, comparing to the LC1 that came with it. Horsepower wise? Instead of 103HP, I have 137HP...but it's for now. I plan to shove in either an L98 350, or find a stroked 350 (GM 383 stroker).

$900 was the cost, $1300 for the engine swap and extra parts needed. I still have a long way to go...but I believe it's better to restore a car to your own taste, rather than having it already restored...and it makes it an extra challenge.

That's a pretty nice ride man,
When the time for a swap comes, a 350 would be nice.. If you can afford it, I'd go the extra mile and go with a 454, really turn some heads ;)
