Video Card Driver Problem

i have recently found out that its not the processor that makes the game look like crap its the drivers which i never updated
so my friend told me to go to the ati website and download the driver so i did for vista 32 bit which is what i have and i kept getting these error messages half way through saying missing CLI.implementation and MOM.implementation please i really need help with this, what do i do.
i have an asus eah 2600xt

If you could post the exact error.. even a screenshot, it'd help more.

I did look into the 'missing CLI' for you.. but came up with nothing.
