two ipods sycning on the same itunes

is it possable for a 3G ipod and a 5G ipod to sync on the same Itunes. note, I am useing a PC, but I think it would be the same on eather system.

also, I want to know what format itunes uses with videos, because it only plays a few of my videos, but the thing that confuses me there all MPEGs. are there any converters that change MPEG to whatever itunes uses.

Yes, you can use up to 3 iPod I believe... not quite sure how it works, but I know for sure that it will support more than one iPod, because my brother has a Shuffle, a Nano and a SLVR and they all work on his. So three for sure.
