Thumbs??

I seem to have descoverd a file on my system that has replicated in 80 some files, all i can get on it is this "Thumbs" "Data Base File"

I couldn't find anything about it on the net, and i was wonderin if any one might know what this is?

I think that is system generated so when you click a file it can display a small thumbnail on the left hand side of the explorer window.

ic, but why woudl it replicate and in some cases be approximatly 8 Kb, and in another case be 2 Meg? I really have next to no clue what to make of it, it showed up about three weeks ago and about 20 have shown up since then.

not sure on that one. Goto http://support.microsoft.com and do a seach there, see what you come up with. Also go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp and do a scan to be sure your av didn't miss anything. Grab this http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3155.html and post the log results (do not fix anything till some one looks through it for you)
