Theoretical Problem

Here is a theoretical situation to ponder over:
A boy is born to his parents, and is raised in isolation from the rest of society. He is raised in his home with no contact with the outside world. He is homeschooled with textbooks that teach science, no religion whatsoever. He is also raised to see facts only, no assumptions or beliefs. Now, this boy reaches 21 and is released out into the world. How do you think he would act?

If he has absolutely no contact with the out-side world, he would probably be semi-amazed at some things, such as cars/trucks, computers, the internet, and technology in general. While science exists, you can only teach so much science before the outside world is being exposed prior to him going outside of the isolated environment.

With that aside, he would also most likely be shy due to not having contact with other humans aside from his parents, he may also never have children, or be able to socialize with people of his own age as he has no idea how to act around his own generation.

But, today, science and religion are both finding them selfs to be more similar than thought... Science has been able to prove many things in religious books as half truths, essentially, yes, it could happen, if you had the proper technology at the time of the story.

Aside from this, the kid would most likely never believe in a god, or creature other than what you can see. He would already be set on what he thinks about life by the time he is 21.

Wouldn't he be somewhat naturalized when it comes to technology? Learning about computers, etc. through unbiased, educational, nonpartaisan multimedia?

Possibly, but seeing how fast things develop and change in the outside world would be a shock. In less than 200 years our race has gone from wooden structures and small buildings to massive buildings, and a highly developed world.

But, to be with technology such as computers while being 21, would mean that he has a feel of the outside world, so he couldn't really be taught or allowed to game, view movies and the such, he would essentially be nothing more than the books he has studied from.

He'd probably be declared insane, kill someone or perform some highly distasteful actions, and be locked up in a psychiatric hospital.

He'd probably die, he'd not know that he shouldn't walk into moving cars, not to jump of cliffs ect ect. so yeah, he'd Probably just die really quickly for one reason or another relating to technology ,like cars, that hes never seen and has no knowledge of how to behave around.
