uhh,,,, - finally got a decent bid for redoing my sofit/facia/gutters/downspouts = $8k. Ouch!! But that will be using Alcoa vinyl facia, aluminum gutters/downspouts/sofit. House is 55 years old with original wood stuff on it. Bid Includes materials.labor.etc. Last year had bids in the 12-15K area and one for $4500 ( which failed to return my call as soon as I asked for references and proof of insurance).

I just read back through this thread and got a good chuckle out of it.
I hit 49 today. Doesn't feel any different than 48 so far. Kinda sucks since we are broke for the time being as we paid out my big paycheck from the other week on bills. We're going out on Thursday for my birthday dinner as that is our family night so my wife has the money for it set aside. At least we paid the Amazon account off and knocked a few smaller bills in the head.
