I was just at school today and received a paper saying if I don't register on a certain website I will go to jail and get fined. It said I had 30 days after my 18th birthday to go online, but I just found out today, And the website isn't working right now if I wrote it down right.

Its been 40 days and 41 tomorrow since my 18th b-day. I hope I don't get fined or go to jail. Wish me luck.

I should be signed up tomorrow if all goes well.

You mean Selective Service? It is the law to sign up, if there were a draft and you did this, I'm sure they would've done something about it by now. Either way, don't take your chances and do that ASAP. I did this BEFORE I turned 18.

Ditto. You don't have to use the website. I registered by mail, and you can register locally... look it up.

thank you guys. You can close this thread now. It wasn't secret service. My bad. That is why I didn't have the right website. I found the website so I am doing that signup in the morning before school. Thank you guys.
