I'm supposed to be building a system for a friend this weekend, and i'm on a tight schedule. Now his needs are not really oriented toward graphic-intensive games, his son is into like plane simulators and shit, doesn't really care about quality.
He does want it to be a perfect DVD player, so the video card should not have any flaws as far as that goes. He'll be doing some AutoCAD on it, some Mathematica 5, or some shit like that, you know, nothing special. now, my question is, which one of these should I go for?
Oh, and before I start babblin about these, this is the case i'm getting him. I know the mobos garbage, but this is what he wants.

Now, as you noticed, the video is an AGP x4/x2. Now my other question #2 is, can i put a x8 AGP in it, or does the video card have to specify x4/x8? Or is it really worth puttin in a x8 if it would only go at x4
