ps2 v4 problems

i have a ps2 that wont boot games or movies. everything else seems to be working ok. the cd tray takes some time to open when the eject button is pushed. the blus light also flashes on the eject button alot. could the bios have gotten erased? or would anyone know how to fix this. please help thanks

Do you have a mod chip installed?

i did but then took it out. same problem in both cases

they also have alot of parts for consoles which is useful to know. Thats where I got my eject/reset ribbon from when I umm ripped it.

Mod chips

Hey.

Just a word of advice, not everyone who claims they know how to install mods chips will do it well. I know someone who got his installed by some flash techie, and in a week it was bad.
