Potentially the longest thread in history...

Petrol/gas, tyre replacement, rego, car upkeep, etc etc etc. Amazing how much money people will spend on cars :\
I'll be picking up a motorbike soon, but no doubt I'll still use public transport quite a bit. Some cases (like working in le city) it's actually easier.

Im not sure if you were reffering to my comment at his insurance price on how much people spend on cars. But, i am totally jealous of $1180. Mine is over $5000

Well insurance is just another part of total cost of owning a car, so I guess both.

Interesting, I reckon I'm gonna buy an electric longboard today :D see how it goes. Something just sounds awesome about going 33KM/s on a longboard with zero effort even when you're not on hills.

My insurance went up when I turned 18 and got a speeding ticket. I know pay roughly $120 a month or so.. But I pay ever six months so its like $700 something. I don't know exact numbers.

Our car insurance is $56 a month on two cars; liability on mine, full coverage on hers. If we switch our homeowners' insurance over to the same company we will get a discount... and if our current insurance company starts dicking around like it looks like they are doing then I will be switching it.

Re: Today I have...

Min'es scratch resist. I wanted a solid wood L desk but those were too expensive and I hate particle board anything, so I got this at officedepot and it's nice. It was around 200 I think...
