Please Help!!!

I downloaded a program that had the trojan Undetected.3.3 on it.
The trojan told my computer to open Applications with itself, and Panda Activescan deleted the file... What runs applications so I can replace the trojan opening problem??

Since I cant open a paint program ill type out what it did.

Content Type (MIME) application/x-msdownload
Opens with: MSREXE

what do i replace MSREXE with to run programs? PLEASE HELP ME! (I use Windows 98 if this effects anything)

go to m$ update and scan for updates it should pick up that you need that exe and fix it. if not try putting in your win98se cd and repairing the install.....
