Im wondering if the new intel mac mini is for me

We use those at school for editing. I edit movies on there with imovie

Would the new mac mini be similar to that performance wise

Would the $599 one get my by or should i go to the $799 one

I dont know which one would be better, I am an avid PC user, but i do use macs at school, and like their ease of use

Would the lower end $599 one be ok for me to edit movies, listen to music in itunes (i do have quite a bit of songs) and browse the web??

Depends. Those ranged from around 700mhz-1.3ghz, some dual proc, some not (off the top of my head, this is.) So they would probably be about the same, if not better. Just make sure you get 1GB of RAM.

The $799 one would be slightly better for editing movies, yes.

get the 799 one it is alot better, or spend 300 more and get a macbook
