could anyone experienced with these programs please tell me if it is possible to make text inverse in colour to a background so that it will contrast perfectly?
I have some experience with Photoshop..., couldn't you just make the text the same color as the background then Layer > Rasterize > Type... then invert it...
i'll try the rasterize thing. thank you i really don't know that much about fireworks and photoshop i haven't used them in about 3 years lol. i'ts not that i need to be able to contrast a colour on a background, i was just wondering if i can get text to contrast with a progressively changing background like say a gradient.
the only thing I could think of right off... was to make the text... rasterize it, then use the magic wand selection tool to select the empty area around the text (make sure continuous is off)... then select > inverse selection, then with that selection move to your picture layer and copy.. then past that and invert it...
you should be able to use blending effects such as a drop shadow or outer glow to make it stand out more...
