So... was thinking about a device name for a new access point I put in my place that follows my general naming scheme (sea life), and was wondering what you all had for naming schemes (if you have one)?
There's only 3 things that don't follow my naming scheme on my network.
Scheme: Sea Life
Router - Oyster
AP - TBD, but thinking "Pearl" since it's hooked up to the router lol.
Laptop (primary) - Kraken (cuz it's "a beast" , and has multiple OS's on it, so tentacles!)
Desktop - Mako
Laptop w/ Kali Linux: Barracuda
Phone - Stingray
Phone's Wifi tether - also Stingray
Tablet - Grouper (cuz that's the code-name for the Nexus 7 anyway... so hey might as well keep it)
Otherwise, the things that don't follow the scheme:
My actual Wifi name - Skynet
Server - Mordor (because I like when services I have on it display "One can't simply X into Mordor!" such as FTP, SSH, and Minecraft, etc.)
Fiance's laptop - haven't bothered with it since I can't think of one at the moment for this either
