Shouldnt get offended by Ste, its the truth - I'm working on my A+ cert and even I see that its just the first step into the IT world.

Although that kinda makes me sad =[, I know a couple of the IRQs like the system clock, ones reserved for disk drives and such, and just the general stuff... was hoping I could be lazy and not remember some of those stuffs ;]

I know that's the TRUTH, I'm not stupid. I didn't get offended by what that Psycho posted. The purpose of this Thread was to help those who are new to this Certification and want to have an idea of what to expect on the exams. Besides, anything that you accomplish in life is important, even if it is only a stupid Certification, it is one more goal achieved in your life. If you read his post, you can tell it's completely out of place and that's why I replied saying I felt sorry for somebody like that. Now, enough of that poor freak, I don't want to waste my time. Read the posts before replying.

Truth Hurts.

Whatever dude. I took a few months learning the textbooks and taking the tests because we work in an INDUSTRY, but I have more than 10 years experience building and fixing PC's, setting up networks, and troubleshooting people's problems over the phone (while negotiating traffic).

You judge someone "only" by a degree, a certification, or, what the heck, the color of their skin, and you pretty much reveal a LOT about yourself.

Nice of you to offer help, there, COCOCOOKIE!

since when do you need to "update" the A+ certification?

If thats the case. PFF, im not finishing that cert.
