How will I access BIOS in a Compaq 2000

Im using an old Compaq 2000 PC (i think). It has no big cursor in the upper ryt side when booting. This is why i dont know what 2 press to access BIOS. I tried pressing F10 too but nothing happens. What should I press in order to access my BIOS? Should I need a boot disk? What kind of boot disk would it be then? And what command should I enter?

Try, F2, F8, and DEL.

F8 certainly works yet it only brings me to the Microsoft Starup Menu
