I'm plannin on building a computer like really soon because mine is well.........junk. Anyways, I've been hearing a lot about SATA and how its the "next generation" of IDE devices. Well, is it worth the wait, and how much more would it be? I don't eve know the advantages of SATA over IDE. It would be nice if someone could explain that to me.

I havent read too many reviews about it, but I hear its pretty fast.
IDE has been a bottleneck on mobo's for a long time, and this is a good step.
