How do I remove my hard iPhone case?

How do I remove my hard iPhone case?
I need to replace my iPhone screen protector, but I have to remove the case first. It's a hard case and I can't figure out how to remove it without damaging my phone. Any suggestions?

Take a pic of the case/phone? Hard to say otherwise

For most that I've seen, placing your thumb on the rear camera (where there's no case), rear facing you btw, and pushing at the same time as pulling the case towards you with your fingertips pops it out.

Usually for the hard cases just apply a bit of force and don't let go.
