Help Please Some Sort Of Static Sound When I Play Music

ok i just hooked up my new dimension e510 and i played music for the first time with it i have dell A215 Speakers and sound blaster audigy advanced mb..and i noticed when im playing a song sometimes i get this static like sound out of no where and its low and alot of people proably wouldnt notice it but i do and sometimes it causes the song to somewhat skip..now i dont know what this could be i dont know if its electrical interferance or maybe my settings are messed up or if it is my sound card please help i will give more info if you need just please reply

have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers? double check all of your connections also.

the song somewhat skips? explain this further....

also, is the static sound all high frequency?
