I'm trying to startup a forum (gaming community) and I'm going to be offering a ~50 prize for the person who can get the most referrals, what should I set the prize as?

i still think it should be an item, it will look more attractive then just $50, you could also give them a choice of say a soundcard, merc stealth keyboard, g7 mouse, ect. If i seen that i would get a free g7 mouse if i just refer enough people i would deffinetly try.

thats what I thought too... something that you can immediately go and use or play with is more cool for me too
