a 6600gt will run hl2 maxed ( maxed aa n af aswell ) without probs

Alright, well I am pretty much settled on the Pc I posted. It is a pretty good price and it will be able to play the games I want. If I need to turn down the eye candy, well so be it.

That only has an x300, which wouldnt smoothly run HL2 with any eye candy

maybe not all the way up... but he could get most of it on high/medium. I run all of my stuff on high with a 9600pro and get over 100fps (most of the time... sometimes I'll drop into the upper 80's)

I didn't see that post where he mentioned the 6600gt, my post was to the last system post he made... and I'm sorry but I assure you I do know what I'm talking about
