games running slow

i have the rig below. on command and conquera generals and its expansion zero hour and morrowind, the game runs horribly slow at certian times. usually occurs when it's show a cinematic/movie.

Are you overdue for a defrag? Maybe you have virii or spywre.

i can run doom 3 and half life 2 flawless, but c&c....

Weird. Make sure you have all of your drivers up to date. Also, download the latest patches for the game, too.

If driver or game updates don't work, report the problem to Nvidia, because it might be a driver issue.

Could be a simple scratch on the CD? If it usually happens during cinematics.

This may be off the subject but how do you DeFrag?

right-click "My Computer">click "Manage">Click the icon for "Disk Defragmenter">Click the "Analyze" button>If it tells you that the disk needs defragmenting, click the "Defragment" button.

C&C just does that. I've run it on many computers and seen the same thing happen. Not sure about morrowwind though.
