It's the best part of the game too. You got to have good graphics, otherwise, there's no game. It's a huge part of the experience. In my case, there's only one simple solution:
UPGRADE TIME
I'm going to have a lot of fun with this next year when Penryn is released. Hopefully when that time comes around, the new 700 series chipset will also be out too. For sure, I really like UT3 without a doubt.
You always know when it's time to upgrade when you can no longer play an enjoyable game like Crysis or UT3 at normal settings anymore. My settings are actually at default right now (nothing over the top and nothing OC'ed either) and it looks that good (according to the screenshots). This game has a huge potential on a better machine and that's what I'm aiming to do.
Early next year will be a great year for system builders because we're at the breaking point of a transition. Conroe and Kentsfield are towards its maturity so Penryn can come out, we're getting new chipsets, and DDR3 will be further pushed to mainstream.
