I bought two 40mm fans for my northbridge, and just wanted to make sure. I'm putting them as intake, so air goes to the northbridge, not as exhaust...drawing heat from the NB. Is this correct?
Well since the idea of the fan is to move the heat from the northbridge heatsink, wouldn't it be better to set one up so that it would be blowing air through the northbridge heatsink? Kinda like a Zalman CNPS.. diagram >_>
Just my opinion, someone that maybe has tried it might be able to provide a little more insight.
And you probably would have problems fitting the fan on there if you did do that >_>
