EA clams the games industry is boring people to death.

Well that is pretty true, I don't think gaming is going to become boring anytime soon, but I do agree in that I probably won't be buying a game unless it's innovative or just plan bad*ss.

If sports game continue to improve, especially baseball franchises, then
i will definitely be buying games. But that's one game a year.
I am bored with the games that have come out. I rent a lot now as
opposed to buying like i used to.
Not even worth it to buy for the collection anymore.

I keep a library of hundreds old games only for the fact that some of the pc games I play are boring( at the moment I have warcaft 3, battlefield 2 and ddo online installed for the pc, and I let the subscription run out for ddo three days ago), there is a lot of old games I love revisiting now and then becuase they entertain me; many pc games I find stressfull, ****, who here loved zelda a link to the past the first time they played it, and did the gamecube version compare? wasn't as fun to me. On an EA note, I was just playing Battlefeild 2 and was Imediatly thinking Secret of Evermore might be fun for a bit.
