kill disk isn't all it claims to be the free version gives you a basic one sweep format which is easilly recoverable you have to pay to get the better algorithem.

i know that. My cousin is going to college for Computer forensics.... He was telling me that some higher end suites that agencies use can read "ghosted" data.....

Kinda like me writing on a chalk board, and then erasing it, and writing over it with something else... You can still see a faint outline of what was there.



Anyways.... What do you mean by FDISK? That would just take down partitions, the data is still there.
