Ok I found it. I typed "Bluetooth Settings" in the search bar. There was no "options" or "Bluetooth" tab, just a check box for notification area.
THX everyone!
I really appreciate the help, but this is so strange. I don't have a "Bluetooth Devices" header and don't have a Bluetooth Settings button. This is one thing about Windows... How can there be different versions of this... Its Windows 7....
I accidentally deleted my bluetooth icon in what I believe is my notifications area. In the lower right hand corner of my screen near my clock there is a little arrow pointing up. I could click on that and it would bring up my bluetooth devices.
I use this a lot because Windows 7 still has a...
Every time I restart Windows 7, I get the little installing new hardware bubble in the lower right hand corner and it wants to reinstall my bluetooth keyboard, which fails. Then I need to remove the driver and then reinstall it, then it works. I feel like I shouldn't have to do that every time...
I'm using Windows 7. I can use Audacity working so I can recording any audio playing on my computer. I can also record myself with my microphone. I just can't do both a the same time. I'd like to be able to do this to record podcasts using skype. THX
I'm trying to figure out how to record what I hear using Windows 7.
I'm using a Gateway and Realtek 7.1 audio
Here are my specs: Gateway Support - Specifications

I'm trying to be able to record audio that is played on my PC and have it record in Audacity. I recently upgraded to Windows 7 and now I can't get it to work
I found this link: Awesome Toast! | Recording what you hear in Windows 7
But I don't get the "Stereo Mix" option
I had Realtek HD...
Ok thanks. Double checking my back ups and about ready to rock. Wish me luck!
Well that couldn't have been easier. Everything seems to be working fine. Very easy. Thanks!!
Ok thanks. I knew I had to do a clean install, I would've done that anyway. My problem is once I do the install and nothing works, I can't get drivers anywhere.
Looks like from this, I would be able to get my graphics card to work. The rest of the drivers are still a problem though unless I'm...
It says I need to look into a custom install because I'm going from XP. On Gateway's site, there aren't any drivers available for my PC for Windows 7. Only about half are there for Vista (don't understand that) and none that are 64 bit.
Other than that it says Windows Aero won't work with my...
Its not looking too good. I realize this computer is a few years old. But its a 64 bit dual core processor. I don't understand why it wouldn't work.
Argg...
I was looking to download any driver I may need before reformatting from XP and installing Windows 7. I see there aren't drivers available from Gateway for Windows 7. Does that mean I won't be able to use Windows 7 on this machine?
