I am getting confused how would i be able to determine the logical topology that iam using?

Yes yes, good work detective Logical topology can be deduced by his post though It's certainly not token based....the internet is shared, and is prone to collisions.

if you have pc in the middle of your connection that is simply star topology.. that's the most common topology used today for home/small buss. networking but if don't have its only cable topology
