P4 + MOBO (need help)

Hi.

I am looking to upgrade to Intel P4 3ghz. I have found a motherboard and a processor....i need to know if they will be ok together?

yo....im not that well up on hardware what you meen by no pins on the mobo...and all that?

the cpu is lga775

the mobo is lga775 . . .

Your alittle off there....the pins are supposed to be on the mobo socket for LGA775, they are not supposed to be on the CPU for LGA775

IN FACT! That will not work, because LGA775 is only for the new chipsets, and that mobo is either a i865 or I875
