I downloaded a movie recently and it was 1350 mb using Quicktime. So I need to split the file so I can put them on 700 mb cds. Anyone know how to do this? Or if you could tell me how to covert it to an avi file, then I know how to split that.

Alright, I tried that RADtools thing. It did convert it to an avi, but it wasn't compressed the same size so I'll probably just want to keep it in a Quicktime file.

I also tried the HJsplit. It splits the mov file, but quicktime won't understand it. And one file isn't even a quicktime file. It's in a compressed file and it won't unzip.

after youve split them you just burn them onto cd.

When you wanna use them again you have to join them by going back into hjsplit and then using the join function.
