Unhappy Web site Technical question

Hello. I would like to 'always' be able to edit my posts in forums if need be.

Now I can not..and or you have a limited number of times or basically time to do
so. Am I correct? And if so could that be changed?

Thanks and have a nice day

Your response is appreciated.
