Hi there! this is on behalf of my friend who's having trouble installing iTunes on his computer, he said that on the Apple website under troubleshooting that it says to go to C:\DOCUME~1\HEARTS~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\IXP759.TMP\, but neither I or him have any clue what that means and where it is. I searched a bit and found something that looked similar to that location and it was a supposed virus.

anywho, here's also what it says once he clicks 'run' after downloading the programe: The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.

Click OK to try again, or choose an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'iTunes.msi' in the box below.

then it says C:\DOCUME~1\HEARTS~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\IXP759.TMP\ from a drop down menu.

Any advice?

Quicktime seems to be the issue of many problems related to iTunes. First uninstall iTunes, uninstall Quicktime and use windows cleanup to clean out temp files. Then install the latest Quicktime and try again.
