Hello Techies
I have a problem I'm hoping you all can help me with.
If I play a 16:9 aspect ratio Quicktime file on my computer it shows up sans the black bars on my 4:3 aspect ratio TV. Basically, it's squished so that it looks too thin. The "TV Out" of my GPU should be converting the 16:9 aspect ratio to a 4:3 ratio that my TV can accept (which adds black bars to the top and bottom).
My other computer does this with no problems.
It's as if my GPU thinks that I have a "widescreen TV" attached to my "TV Out". I haven't told it that I do. I don't actually know how to do that even if I wanted to.
HELP! How can I watch my movie trailers on Quicktime through my TV without everyone looking like Kate Moss? They're TOO SKINNY!
I have a GeForce 7900 GT (eVGA) with the output going to the analog (rca) in of my TV. I am using the S Video output of the card with the converter that I was given with the card. As in, it down-converts S Video to old fashioned analog RCA in.
Any suggestions?
Your help is always appreciated.
