I would not be putting any money down on a deposit just yet on a XB360 just yet.
One of my major computer distributors has announced that Microsoft's decision to appoint them as their retail distribution partner for Xbox products as of August 1, 2005. However I am not sure if this gowing to make the product avalable for the small to medium computer stores, and not just the retail giants such as EB Games, Myres, Etc.
I remember that MS did not want to give computer stores the X-Box product as they knew that the small retail computer stores will prostitute the product turning it into a low margin item (like they do with every thing else.) However since the orginal release....
1. There is Windows Media Centre products.
2. The retails giant such as EB Games, Coles-Myers etc are going a very good job protituting the current console systems all ready, I guess MS just finally gave in.
