What You've Just Bought!

Re: The What You've just Bought thread!

That is if you have the option to use DVI in the first place. But yeah, HDMI has always been media-oriented, makes the most sense to use it on actual TVs not home monitors (especially with how lazy manufacturers are about properly supporting a standard).

Though with all that said, I still wonder why they don't just use miniDisplayPort anyway.

On topic! Today I bought a couple pizzas, some external hdds, a whole bunch new keyboards/mice, and some POWERADE YEAH.

DP would be nice, but still hasn't really caught on yet.

Re: The What You've just Bought thread!

I kinda want an iPad Mini on 8GB a month LTE plan. The iPad mini will be about £269. But the LTE plan is £50/mo for 8GB so it's a rip off and I highly doubt i'll go through with it. Maybe get a 4GB or 2GB plan.

Just enough for 2 hours browsing a day and youtube when I go to work by train. I use my phone at the moment but obviously a slightly bigger screen would be nicer.

You could always get a larger phone and avoid needing a second plan.

Could. But I don't want a phone that big. The iPad would go in my bag. My phone needs to stay in my pocket. I actually wish Apple would put a wacom digitizer in the screen as well, I really like that feature on note tab. I might not get it, though. I'm tempted to get a nice SSD or two and upgrade to 32GB of RAM. Can't wait to see A6X benchies as well. Gunna be mental GPU speed. POWA.

The stars are aligning for OS X and iOS to become one OS that will run on Mac and iDevices. .. give it 5 years.

It was smart of Apple to introduce A6x now since we are just starting to get solid benchmarks for Exynos 5250 and it appears to beat A6 by a fair amount. The real question is gpu performance though the Mali T604 should be fast but who knows how it stacks up against the competition.
