Watch Dogs

I have a bunch of short gameplay clips of this title that I need to upload to YouTube. I might do that tonight. So many random, funny moments that I've been saving with game DVR.

Awesome moment for me last night in Watch Dogs. I was completing the criminal convoy side missions, which are basic and consist of cutting a small convoy off before they reach their destination. Anyway, the very last mission is called, "Requiescat In Pace", which is Italian for rest in peace. The significance is Ubisoft's link to Assassin's Creed, as those would always be Ezio's last words to one of his main Templar targets.

Anyway, you start the mission by hacking the phone of Olivier Garneau, who is being escorted to the Sears Tower in Chicago. After hacking in and discovering the convy route, Aiden comments on how the guy is into some serious stuff with Abstergo, genenetic memory reconstruction, etc. So you track him down, run him off the road, and take out Garneau and his body guards.

It's nothing actully related to the Watch Dogs main storyline, but I love how they teased Watch Dogs in AC4 with Olivier leaving for Chicago and you being able to discover files on ctOS, and then carrying all of that from AC4 into Watch Dogs.

Very upset with watchdogs right now with the newest patch its become completely unplayable fraps reads aproximatly 60/80 fps depending on the area i am in allthough there is consistent lag as if it was running at 14 fps in every scene not happy at all right now they better release a patch to fix this. Aboslutely no reason why this game should feel like its running 14 fps constantly on a pc as powerful as mine. Took me days to figure out to run it in windowed border-less mode to get rid of the stutter glitch and enjoy it for a few weeks and now this... Im currently off work for recovering from a tonsillectomy better be fixed before my sick leave is up or im going to be mad.

It's different for different people. Turning down GPU buffered frames to 2 and shadows to high completely fixed my stutter issue. Running AA higher than MSAA 2x while using Ultra textures also eats VRAM since the textures are being double rendered.

the second patch did show an improvement on fps at least according to what fraps shows.
but the fps dips seem to happen more now that's what really messing up the game right now.

The current version of FRAPS is actually rather old and has been showing its age with issues in newer games. I use the FPS feature in Shadowplay for my FPS counter.

No. When you go to Geforce Experience go to preferences and click Shadowplay. It'll say FPS counter and it shows on most all games and be in the corner you select.

When you simply "enable" Shadowplay it doesn't do anything until you record. Although I have 0 performance drawbacks from using or recording with Shadowplay compared to FRAPS that hogs your whole machine.
