Unsupported video card

I just bought oblivion, far cry2, and crysis. I cannot play any of them. I have the intel media accelerator x3100. I am going to get my laptop upgraded to a 256 mb video card but is there anything i can do before then?

Some of these games are simply too overbearing for the limitations seen with an onboard gpu chip. Which make and model is the laptop there?

dell inspiron 1720 core 2 duo 1.83 ghz 4gb ram. I am choosing a 256 mb videocard because thats the max that my laptop will allow.

x3100 struggles with source based games, let alone Crysis, Farcry 2, and Oblivion.

Too bad that didn't see the GeForce Go 8600M GT 256mb chip on instead. That was one of the option available when ordering new at the time. Dell Inspiron 1720/1721 - Laptop

i didnt order from dell i ordered from staples and i kept asking them if they got a better video card than the x3100 and the sales rep said no. I guess i got a deal but now I have to pay 500 dollars to get my laptop video card installed
