Juice daddy, the one in the rain turned out pretty cool. I've wanted to try it in the past when I first saw it, but I'm lazy and dont feel like moving my monitor

Very clever indeed, I might actually do that once I get my new PC setup, and if I can find a reasonable digital camera.
Webcam just won't cut it .

how do you get the sizes right?

place the camera on a stand or somewhere secure, faceing the monitor (whatever angle you want)

take a picture with the monitor

then one without

line up the pictures and cut out the part of the image that overlaps the screen

set the image you cut out as your background
(note: you might adjust the hue/sat, brightness, etc... to match the wall)


if this is done at an angle, cut out the polygon and streatch it into a square, set that as your background and...(the fun part) look at the monitor from the angle the picture was taken at
