Oh man this is going to suck if I lose all those days. How do I double check the settings?

I checked the FAhlog.txt in the directory and the settings look fine...I guess? I can post the log if someone wants to take a look. It hasn't been able to successfully send WU since its first completion on the 9th. It has completed 5 and working on the 52% of one currently.

Well, firstly, youre not running an smp

You are running straight unicores. ie core_78. Which is a 336pts.

Everythings fine according to your setup. See at the top of the 1st stuff:

Launch directory: C:\
Executable: fah6
Arguments: -configonly -smp

and then when it worked:

Youre missing the the -smp arguement. Go back and put that back in where you took out the "-configonly -smp"

So you did get the pts that you did, you just didnt do what you thought.

EDIT

To fix, ctrl-c it, then when you restart it, add the -oneunit flag. then run. This way it'll finish it first then you can run on the smp.
 
Oh wow that sucks. I do want to run SMP. I don't understand...where do I add -oneunit flag? In the advanced options?
 
How do you start your fah6?

You could use the cmd prompt and do it like that, cd to the folder and c:\fah6 -oneunit

Or if you use a s/c you can add it just out side the quotes "........." -oneunit

I'd put the -smp into the advanc arguements latter though.

No, you fluffed.

Where are you entering this stuff? I'm confused abit.

Are you double shortcut? My best advice is to use the ms-dos type cmd prompt and manually enter this:

c:\fah6 -oneunit

The when its stopped go and add the -smp and only -smp in the advanced part. You can add -verbosity 9 to add to error tracking, but its not needed.
 
I don't understand where to add the -smp. I open up cmd and do the c:\fah6 -oneunit, and it opens up fah6 and starts working immediately, it doesn't let me type anything in it. Not sure what you mean by "when it's stopped" ...when what is stopped? Sorry about this and thanks again for your help and patience paton!!!
 
Okay, adding -oneunit will run till it finishes the current wu and not d/l a new one... hence one unit.

So when you get done the wu, do the ssame sorta thing in cmd prompt but run

c:\fah6 -config

not -configonly Then when you get to the advanced options, when it asks for extra parameters, thats where you'll add the -smp and I'd recommend -verbosity 9.

No problems on the help, it sucks that its post and wait... post and wait. But we'll get you running.
