No one ever explicitly said in this thread that veganism is "better", they just said it was healthier,

Emily that makes no sense what so ever. Him saying it's 'healthier' is exclaiming that it's a better way to be healthy when this is not the case. The rules I suggested are basic guidelines, that which I said, any human health specialist would tell you is true to maintaining proper human health nothing more.

Aright then ,since the topic is HEALTH here and he is saying it's healthIER then he is implying that the vegan diet is BETTER than an omniverous diet.

Yes I know what it implies, but guess what, we've never technically HAD to eat meat to survive. We can survive without meat, as we could hundreds of years ago had people known what other things to eat. Knowledge and the advancements of our science is the only reason people go off and try other ventures, nowhere in human history was it absolutely necessary to eat meat simply to survive and I never implied it was, but since that's all we knew, that is what we did.

Again, it was an analogy. My point was that if we have a better option than meat, we should use that better option even if we are still designed to eat meat.

Hmmm now you say that there is a 'BETTER' option that eating meat....thought you said this was clearly never said and here you are saying it yourself within the same post....there are other things that have the equal value of meat that you can replace it with, but it's in no way 'BETTER' and 'BETTER' is just your viewpoint which doesn't mean it's accurate.

If we hadn't eaten meat in the past, we wouldn't even be able to digest it now. But just because we used to eat meat and we still are built to eat meat doesn't mean we still have to

Never said you had to so again I don't know where you seem to get this concept like I did say that. I simply said we're made to eat meat and those that say eating meat is a bad thing is ridiculous. You don't have to eat meat, that's your opinion and your choice, but since we are infact made to eat meat, I'm not going to avoid it like you and other vegans/vegetarians seem to think is the best course of action. The ole saying 'To deny our impulses is to deny our very existance' comes into mind somewhat here.

And what arguement is that exactly. I merely said veganism isn't healthIER nor BETTER and neither is eating meat. I simply said you can choose one style or the other. Neither is better than the other, it's simple a replacement...can you understand that concept or not because I in no way said eating meat was healthier like this vegan over here is saying about his diet towards omniverous diets.

One is not healthier over the other, it's simply a replacement and a choice you make. Same thing said, one is not better over the other, it is merely an alternate life style.

That's like a gay guy saying being gay is better, no it serves the same purpose, to fulfill a need, it's simply a replacement.

If you can not understand this simple underlying concept then don't bother attempting to argue with me because you are argueing things that I am not even speaking of.

We are made to eat meat, so if you choose to use it, fine, if not fine, but don't come telling me that because of your choice to not eat me you are 'healthier' or that that way is 'better'
