My computer is making real scary noises

Haha, I was tempted, but the I wouldn't be able to use my computer! haha, I don't have spare PSU lying round, lul

That and no lights or anything from the power supply, I sat down last night and looked, nothin, and near certain it isnt coming from PSU, definitely sounded around the CPU, maybe the GFX card area.

Wouldn't be my motherboard making weird noises discharging or something, Asus P5B

Now that are you certain its not comming from the power supply, RMA the motherboard.

Be without your computer?? So what, want it to work correctly and NOT make noises??

but what if it turns out to be one of those lovable traits that you dont miss until they're gone! I wont be able to sleep without that crackle going off for 5 mins! it gives the computer character!

i'm planning to upgrade mobo / ram soon, maybe CPU, so i'll just upgrade 1 piece at a time and see when the sound stops, lol, RMA that and can sell it to a mate later
